The windswept shores of Fjolarok are home to a wide variety of fauna and flora, from palm trees and seagulls (mostly peaceful) to herbs and snakes (less peaceful). While all might seem serene here, there is much to the island that is shrouded in mystery.
Once a great city, the town is now but a glimmer of its original splendour. Ruled by twin sisters, the townsfolk toil away daily in an effort to serve and rebuild.
Underneath the Town of Fjolgard, the sewers conceal many passages that formed part of the original design...some closed forever and some merely hidden. As of late, the townsfolk have become increasingly worried about the sounds from below...mutters and squeaks.
Named for the hundreds of mysterious crystals that addorn the subterranean tunnels, the Crystal Caves are home to Snails that, over time, have become magically through the ingestion of the crystals around them. Deep within the cave, an envoi of the Akarei have taken an interest in the denizens of the deep.
Once a beautiful utopia, the Estuary has long since been abandoned of all peaceful inhabitants. The creatures that dwell there have become twisted and hateful. Bent on some unnatural goal.
The temple was the home of the most ancient and revered disciples of Gaekatla. Now in ruins, the only inhabitants are the old keepers and protectors of the Goddess, now mindless and corrupted.
